The Championship Golf Course at Bayou Oaks is one of four courses that the Bayou Oaks facility offers. Golf Digest ranked this 18-hole course the 7th Best Public Course in the state of Louisiana in 1996. Out of the four golf courses at Bayou Oaks, the Championship course is the longest as well as one of the more difficult.
The golf course features tree-lined fairways as well as many large bunkers, adding some interesting elements to the game. Also, water hazards as well as sand bunkers further add to the difficulty of this course. The Championship Course provides a challenging game for any level of golfer.
