Located at the same facility as the Championship, Little, and Lakeside courses, Wisner is a popular choice of Bayou Oaks golf courses. This 18-hole, public course has picturesque landscaping that features beautiful cypress and oak trees that are centuries old.
The course has narrow, tree-lined fairways and small greens of Bermuda grass. Like all of the courses at Bayou Oaks, Wisner does employ water hazards on some holes. The Wisner course also has sand bunkers and domed greens that lend to the challenge of this course. The course also holds the title of 9th Best Public Course in the state of Louisiana in 1996. The course has a yardage of 6,465 at the longest yards with a par of 72.
