The public, 18-hole golf course at Brechtel Memorial Park, which was built in 1965, is an easier course that is ideal for beginning and intermediate golfers. The golf course is well maintained, with greens that are both medium in size as well as in speed.
There are at least 16 bunkers and water hazards come into play on at least 12 holes requiring some shot accuracy. This makes the Brechtel Memorial Park course a good challenge for beginners as well as great practice for intermediate and advanced golfers. The greens and fairways are Bermuda grass. At Brechtel Memorial Park there is also a putting green and onsite teaching professional.
