The 18-hole, public TPC Golf Course of Louisiana is located across the Mississippi River from New Orleans. The 72-par golf course stretches over 250 acres of wetlands along the Mississippi River delta. Pete Dye, who designed the course, used the natural landscape but he also added water hazards and bunkers to provide an interesting game of golf.
The course has five sets of tees to appeal to a variety of skill levels. There are also several difficult par 4s as well as a few short, easier ones. The relatively flat course has small greens, wide fairways, and beautiful cypress trees scattered throughout. One of the best aspects of TPC of Louisiana is that it is completely self-contained, creating a beautiful and peaceful environment that is perfect for a day of golf.
